Samira Sadat Hashemifar
My name is Samira and I’m a graduate of Sutherland Chan School of Massage Therapy.
I was always passionate about self-care and massage, but I never thought about it as a career. Coming from an engineering background, I stepped into a completely different field but the farther I went, the more I realized how aligned this is with my personality and never looked back. I simply love what I do.
I like painting, dancing, interior design, and DIY projects.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
In brief, the cases that I can make a difference. I have treated a wide variety of patients in all different stages of life with different methods; Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Hot Stone, Sport, and Thai massage. What I enjoy the most is the relief and relaxation I see in my patients’ face and body. I love to help people to feel better, get healthier, and improve their quality of life.
What should I expect in your session?
You can expect caring, warm hands and a relaxing environment where you can just focus on your health. With deep tissue techniques, there might be some soreness up to 48 hours which is normal. Other than that, depending on your concern, there would be different outcomes like pain relief, quicker recovery between workouts, increased range of motion and flexibility, decreased muscle stiffness, decreased joint inflammation, improved circulation, increased relaxation, improved sleep quality, and strengthened immune system.
What are you proud of in your practice?
My passion for excellence and healing.
Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
I’m confident in my skills and I care about my patients. Also, I’m fluent in Farsi for our Farsi-speaking patients.
